This lone rock stood out like a sentinel. It was sharp, craggy and prominent. On this evening, the tide was surging onto the beach and then pulling back just as fast. I timed the shot so that the white water streaked as it pulled back to the ocean. The warm sunset turned from orange to pink and made this image that much more rewarding.
