The ruggedness of the West Coast of Vancouver Island is mesmerising. Tall trees and rough, jagged, rocky headlands are everywhere. It was a rainy morning and we hiked out of the town of Tofino and along the trail that hugged the beach. We went for a few hours and reached this rocky cove, the trail ended here. the rain had stopped, but left some moisture on everything, it was a little windy, but I was protected in the cove. An unforgettable Pacific Northwest scene.
