  • Buffalo Bay or "Buffs" as it is known by locals is a rugged beautiful beach in the Garden Route of the Cape coastline. On this evening, the tide was far out. This gave the effect of the sea being far away and the beach being deep. The sun began to set and put on a fantastic light display in the clouds, an wonderful time to be out in nature and this image was made.
Sea Forever - Buffalo Bay, South Africa
  • The rock formation on Gabriola island defies belief, This slim rock shelf is big enough to stand in, but it seems finely carved at the same time, almost by a master. The sun hit the rock wall and reflected this golden glow, a perfect scene.
    Malaspina wave
  • As the sun was setting, the glow set the forest alight...with light
    Last light in the woods
  • The forests in British Columbia are vast structures spanning for hundreds of kilometres. As you enter one of these sanctuaries, it feels cooler, calmer and quieter. As you stay longer, this imbues your soul.
    Deep Cove forest
  • The green and chartreuse of the forest canopy is emphasized in this image as the sunlight was trying to break through, the glow was almost tangible!

  • The soft light was fading over the water of Whytecliff Park on the North Shore of Vancouver. As it did, the last magenta rays coloured up the clouds for just a few seconds...and this is what it looked like
    Tranquility
  • This scene struck me as an analogy for the hope and strength of the beacon that is standing strong in the might flowing river. It was a perfect scene, fast flowing water, magnificent light and body clouds, after a fresh dusting of snow....perfect!
    Beacon of Hope
  • The Calmness - Standing on the rocky shore as the sun was setting was a very surreal and calming experience. This image exemplifies that serene time and has a calming effect to gaze upon and make you contemplate time and reality.
    The Calmness
  • As the storm began to roll away, the sun was coming up and illuminating the lightly snow dusted mountains in the distance, the air was crisp and clear and began to glow with the new day's brilliance.
    Northern Island glow
  • As the cool breeze ran across the water, the last light gave colour to the sky and then slowly darkened to reveal...the moon rising.
