Buffalo Bay or "Buffs" as it is known by locals is a rugged beautiful beach in the Garden Route of the Cape coastline. On this evening, the tide was far out. This gave the effect of the sea being far away and the beach being deep. The sun began to set and put on a fantastic light display in the clouds, an wonderful time to be out in nature and this image was made.
